Universal was excellent. They had fair price and great work. Warren was very friendly and professional. My insurance company must have known they are reputable because it was quick and easy. Unlike that shady company that chases every house with their red trucks that wants you to sign a contract right away. Universal did not even offer a contract until after insurance had done their thing. Warren reviewed the options with no pressure we selected what we wanted. Once the contract was signed I received updates all along the way. When everything was finished they came out and did a thorough walk through to make sure that we were pleased. Highly recommend.
My husband and I called Universal Roof and Contracting after Hurricane Irma hit us. We first heard about them on news 96.5 and ended up very happy with our decision. This is one of the only companies who offered to come out and inspect/estimate damage on our roof without a charge. Originally our appointment was scheduled for December (due to high demand after the storm) surprisingly, they were nice enough to call us when they had a cancellation and we were able to have them at the house 3 months earlier than expected! Patrick came out and inspected our roof. We had a small leak during the hurricane and wanted to get a professional opinion on it. Patrick was great, very friendly and knowledgeable. The best part was that he was honest and did not try to up-sell us anything. He told me great news (that there is no damage on our roof and we have at least another 3-5 years of life left on it). We definitely recommend their service and plan on calling them when needed.
Highly recommend Universal Roof from personal experience. We had damage from an incorrectly-attached and incorrectly-sealed antennae, which caused rot in one spot on our roof. It wasn't covered by insurance, so we ended up having to pay out of pocket. Going through this well-trusted company of workers with integrity was well worth the money spent. We saw excellent support from the call center staff, estimator, and roofer. Stephanie from the call center helped with scheduling time with the estimator and a post-visit to re-estimate after the hurricane passed. Archie the estimator gave us educated advice and an on-the-spot estimated cost of repair, which ended up being accurate to the dollar for the repair (since there was no hidden damage seen during repair). Was happy to see that the roofer was from the staff and not a hired-out contractor. He did an excellent truss-to-truss replacement of the wood and re-roofing in that area. Also got great advice from the roofer on alternate ways to use an antenna instead of attaching to the roof. We were planning on paying out-of-pocket anyways, since it wasn't a damage type covered by our insurance, and was happy to see the repair cost was the same as what our insurance deductible would have been anyways (so, added bonus of no hit to our insurance history).

Antonio and his crew were simply the hardest working people I've ever seen. They completed our roof in two days. They cleaned up each day and worked before the sun came up to dark. The quality of workmanship is impressive to say the least. I not only would use them again but I highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you Antonio and your entire crew! We love our roof!!
