The woman who took my call told me that my appointment DIDN'T EXIST. I asked her to try searching again using different information, such as the address. Still, it wasn't in their records. Best of all, when I asked if there was any other way to look it up, and she told me to "wait," and "be nice." I never even raised my voice, so I asked what she meant, and she told me that I was rude.
Skyligth roofing did an amazing job. Everyone I worked with was very professional and polite. They professionally helped me out throughout the entire process. In the middle of summer it only took them a day and a half and I have a wonderful roof
We had a new roof put on our house about a month ago. We chose Sky ligth roofing because of their rating on BBB. Everyone I dealt with was amazing! Communication was great and everything went exactly as they said it would...no "surprises!" I always have some anxiety when it's time for a big project and this was no different. Juan came out, talked to me about the process, and gave me the estimate. Juan was the best! We talked like we had been friends for years! He definitely made me feel better about what was about to take place. Melissa was my "go to" in the office! She was always so sweet and had an answer to anything I asked. Juan was our project manager. He went above and beyond! Awesome guy! I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to deal with! This was by far the best experience I have had with any home project!
Juan and team did a phenomenal job putting a brand new roof on our home. The gentalmen that work on our roof worked hard and did a quality job. The company was very perfesional and so was the owner of the company. Let's just say no shingles fell off after hurricane Irma hit! I recommend them!
Finally, I volunteered to call the insurance company myself, since one of Sky Light's excuses was that they were waiting for an answer on the claim, only to be told that Sky Light NEVER FILED A CLAIM. I asked multiple times to make sure, and the adjuster confirmed that the only claim on the house was one we had put in ourselves. I called Sky Light back and asked to speak to Juan, the owner of the company, and he assured me that he would check in on the matter personally. He, of course, never called back.
So, if you're interested in the most unprofessional customer service and dysfunctional overall service, I highly recommend this company. Maybe after years of calling, you can actually get them to do the work you're offering to pay for, if you think it's worth that risk or the waste of time.
At the recommendation of a friend, we called Sky Light about a roof replacement in 2016, and they said they would send someone to do an inspection, set up an insurance claim, and update us regarding the status of that claim. One day after another, they never called on the dates they said they would, and if we ever contacted them ourselves, the lady who picked up (assuming she picked up) would have no idea what was going on, and would give a generic answer such as "we're still waiting." This went on for at least three months.
A year went by, and our roof still needed replacing, so seeing that Sky Light seemed to have good reviews while we were searching, we thought that we would try them again, especially since we weren't even going to go through the insurance this time. We called a week ago and they gave us an appointment for Wednesday, September 27th. Since we had another roofing inspection set up that same date, we called Sky Light the day before (Tuesday) to verify what time they would be coming so that the two appointments didn't overlap.
I can't imagine how they are during or after the job if this is how they treat customers who haven't even paid them.
We recently had our roof replaced due to storm damage. The estimator, was very knowledgeable and explained the repairs that were needed in detail. The project manager, Juan, and his crew did an outstanding job replacing our roof. Juan kept us informed about the details of the work every step of the way. He was professional, courteous and very thorough in making sure every aspect of the job was done correctly. Juan and his crew did excellent work and did a great job of cleaning up after the work was done. Skyligth roofing will always be our first call if we need any roofing work done in the future.
