Premiere installed our entire roof as a result of hail and windstorm , completed warranty registration on June 6, 2014. This year while a contractor was checking a fan vent in our Master bedroom water in the vent was discovered and the fan was rusted from continuous water exposure. The edges of the drywall around the vent was wet. At this time the contractor told us that with prompt correction of the problem we might be able to save drywall ceiling. We contacted Imperial on Thursday June 22, 2017 to report this collateral damage to our house. They promised to call back which they did , on Friday, at which time he said he would call Monday to apprise us of when someone would inspect the roof. He didn't call , we called back ,he was in a meeting , and operator said he would call. He didn't so we called again at which time he said that he would have someone come to see the roof and damage the end of the week ending June 30, 2017. He hasn't called. Meanwhile thunderstorms are predicted to arrive almost every day next week. Today is Friday, June 30, 2017. it's 5:05 PM. We have not received a call , nor has anyone come to look at damage and roof. My son looked at it and opined that the vent was not installed properly and the estimate of Premiere 's work, includes removing and resetting vents. We are highly disappointed in their service. While we thought , at the time, that they did a good job, a job is only as good as the producer who backs it up. The gentleman representing Premiere was named Ken Denizard. The owner of Premier should have this man properly trained or replaced by someone capable of properly taking care of his business. we are holding Premier accountable for any and all damage that occurs as a result of their poor workmanship. This vent slopes down toward the master bedroom where a double glass permanent window sits in the side wall . My son said there is moisture trapped in that window and it is downstream from the offending vent as is the sloped ceiling. All of this part of the house is in peril yet Mr. Denizard has simply tried to brush us off. Poor customer service. My son , who is a Scientist/Chemist , opined that it appears that wind could have blown the shingle up from the flashing to allow rain to get into the tube that runs to the vent pipe, in which case the shingles were not properly sealed. Alternatively, the vent was improperly reset after it was removed during roofing I hope this doesn't require legal help to resolve .
The ABSOLUTE WORST roofing company around!! Waited 7+ months for any work to begin on a project that other companies would have done in less than a week. Would give a negative star rating.
