The food was amazing! Really good breakfast spot. Service was good. Only issue was that we waited for about 10 minutes before being served but the manager apologized and took good care of us as soon as he realized. Loved that they had a gentleman blowing up balloons, two thumbs up for that!
Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted by Laurie. As we were being seated she proceeded to inform us that there was only 1 cook and 1 server. I asked, "on a Friday night", she stated " every night". She also stated that a party of 6 had just been seated. At that point I asked her if that meant we weren't going to get proper service? She then began to backtrack on her previous statements. As we started to sit down at the dirty table, after walking by multiple other dirty tables, my family & I decided to leave and go to Dennys. Obviously Perkins doesn't want our business, who in their right mind would say this to a guest!?!? Absolutely absurd!!
The ultimate comfort food. Huge portions at good prices; delicious food and the place is always clean and quiet even when crowded. I recommend the southern chicken and biscuit dinner and the mammoth muffins!
One of the better Perkins restaurants I have been to. It is adjacent to Walt Disney world resort property. They told us accurately up front we would have a 15 minute wait to be seated. Upon being seated, we were attended to promptly by a pleasant lady. Our drinks were brought quick. There is a balloon creator on scene that works for tips, he can make some awesome balloons, well worth the price of a tip if you have a young kid. He made us a dinosaur, another girl a Minnie Mouse, and other kid some type of hat with slug eyes. Pretty cool.
Our food was quite good; better even than that of the Disney Resort Hotel where we were staying (only half a mile away).
Our food was served promptly, accurately, and at the appropriate tempuratures.
The waiter was sharp, intelligent and well-mannered. Perkins should be proud to have him as an employee.
