My family and I decided to dine here on our first night of vacation. First of all, they didn't bring bread to the table, the service was mediocre, the food took a long time to arrive at the table. Upon arrival, the portions were adequate for a child not an adult and to make matters worse, the food was cold and rice tasted dry, not freshly made. I cook at home so I know fresh rice and beans. I wouldn't recommend.
The service was the first thing that stick out. These guys were great! Very sweet to my family. The food was excellent. It definitely met the expectation. If I lived in the area, I'd come back again.
We tried the small appetizer combo and comuguay which was a dish with three meats for lunch. As far as the taste goes the food tasted good and we liked the croquet from appetizers and the chicken from the meats. The Cuban rice with black beans was really tasty and was one of the two non-fried and non-oily items on the table. Everything except the yuca were fried on the appetizer combo. The entree came hot in a hot plate and unfortunately was swimming in oil. The food was more than enough for us 2 and we ended with some leftover for dinner.
Scrumptious Cuban food - don't miss the Caribbean fruit smoothies. Pollo Habana was a great dish after a long day in a conference. Topped everything off with a coconut flan which was well worth the price. Attentive service, too.
This hidden treasure doesn't look like much from the outside but inside is modern fresh and clean. The music is at an enjoyable volume and the interior is not gimmicky. The walls are adorned with beautiful art work and the service staff is attentive and fast. The food is delicious, not over seasoned. I enjoyed the tops vieja, with yellow rice and black beans as suggested by my server. And I loved it!!!! This is a excellent place to enjoy food with family and friend or alone when visiting Orlando florida.
