My husband and I came in tonight specifically for pricing on one 2018 model. We've done the research and this model was my husband's #1 choice, if the pricing was right. We came in ready to see the numbers so we could make a decision by tomorrow.
We were shown the car and that gentleman was polite and helpful, I just forget his name. Then we came in and my husband had to leave to pick up the kids and I'm more than capable of handling these things so I stayed to see the financial crew and get some numbers. A gentleman from the finance department approached the table and we briefly discussed the car/situation, and he was supposed to return with information on financing options - I failed to get his name, unfortunately, but he was at least polite at the time that we interacted. A few minutes later, the sales manager Kyle Carter comes instead and drops off a sheet with a car price - no other details at all. I said I was expecting to see numbers and he informed me that the price quote was good until tomorrow. I asked him the dealer fee so that I could start doing some of my own math and he informed me, then asked if he could answer any other questions with a demeanor that let me know I was wasting his time - he was standing at the side of the table from the moment he approached and with an obvious intention of going somewhere else.
Excellent customer service received by everyone who helped me at Toyota of Orlando. Andre Robertson was very patient and helpful from start to finish when it came to the negotiating aspect of my deal. He fought to get me the best price and I was very appreciative. After negotiations I went and saw Stephanie Alexander who was very friendly as well when it came to the signing of all my documents. Overall excellent experience all around and it was actually very fast as well. I would shop with Toyota of Orlando again for sure.
The place looked great with a large selection (except the 2018 Camry Hybrid, which is what brought us in) and there are enough employees there that other folks may have a decent experience with another financial rep. But I was shocked that this Kyle Carter is a sales manager with the way he handled the situation. He didn't take me seriously tonight and I would advise others to not take him seriously. If he's the main representative of the sales department at Toyota of Orlando, then know that he's left me with a negative impression of your business.
I would just like to say that I related my experience of feeling completely dumped at the scene to my husband and we will take our business elsewhere. I could guess that seeing my husband leave made them think we weren't ready to purchase and so, therefore, they didn't make the effort. But if not that then I'm really at a loss as to why I wasn't worth the time to pull a few numbers when I came in with a very direct request on a single and very particular vehicle.
Chito was great!! He drove the car so I could see how it felt as a passenger & then allowed me to drive as the owner. I was sold!!! Jerry our sales man was wonderful! He understands different cultures and was quick to connect my last name to the country where I was born. I was sold, he gave me a great deal with gold star package. Bethany was absolutely pleasant!!! Paperwork can be taxing, however she made it pleasurable to complete. Thanks everyone!
The people at Toyota of Orlando are so good at their job, made things easy. This isn't the first dealer ship I have been to. Been looking for a while but everywhere I have been to wasn't helpful or had what I want. But this place was great, had the car I want and at the right price. Thank-you to all who help me today.
