*P.s. They got 2 stars instead of one because the pictures matched the car. I'll give them that much credit. At least they took photos of the correct car and that's worth a star. The other star is the fact they did ship the car quickly after payment. That's the second star.
I Bought a Maserati from here last week. Everyone I dealt with was great. Frank, the GM, was very helpful, and the process was easy. Zero bs from these guys. I also traded in a 2012 camaro SS. I was offered the highest trade value here than the other places i had looked at *4 dealerships, 3 in florida, one in North Carolina*. This was probably the easiest car buying experience I've had so far.
While driving home with my new ride I noticed the car had a strong shimmy in the steering wheel when I applied the brakes. I called Rodrigo and he told me to bring it in and they would fix it. They replaced the rotors and brake pads on the front of the car at no cost to me as well as giving me a loaner car until the issue was resolved.
I brought up the fact that there are liability cases where dealerships have been held criminally liable for selling cars without doing basic safety checks. The response was, "no used car dealerships have service departments...so this is normal for Florida". Beware buyers beware.
I purchased a vehicle out of state and when the vehicle arrived it wasn't the trim that was advertised. After leaving messages daily for the last week with no response (e-mailed manager as well and the texts to the formerly eager salesperson were not responded to as well). I finally reached a manager today after a week of daily pursuit. The manager insisted that I got a better deal because the vehicle should be more valuable. He argued this in spite of the fact that KBB says what I received was worth less than what was advertised. Admittedly, NADA says the vehicle was the same value either trim. However neither of the two resources for valuing vehicles agreed with the argument of the dealership.
I was taken to Frank
BUYERS Beware!!!!
I just purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee from this dealership outside the state. You should question everything they claim and have the vehicle inspected by an outside company before purchasing. Know that they are NOT looking under the hood of the cars that they sell. You're on your own!
I can honestly say I had a wonderful experience at RPT. Frank and Rodrigo were excellent and I have recommended them to my friends and I will return one day to purchase another car.
It was the friendliest, most professional and enjoyable experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. Thank you very much RPT!
When the vehicle arrived, the gas tank was dry. How dry? Less than a gallon in the tank from what I can tell. This is the 8th car I've purchased but it's the first time I've ever received a car with less gas in the tank than my Nalgene has water.
I recently found a Range Rover Sport HSE I was interested in but, it was about 40 miles from where I live. I called RPT Sales and Leasing and spoke with Rodrigo Garcez and he told me how beautiful the car was and I should come take a look, so I did.
The second day after receiving the vehicle, I looked under the hood because a friend needed a jump. I had driven the vehicle about 10miles since the delivery...I was shocked to see no power steering fluid. Not low. No...none visible. I filled up the power steering fluid a week ago and the levels are the same as when I topped it off so it seems unlikely to me this was anything that happened recently. As far as basic safety systems go, the power steering fluid is one of the most important. When I brought this detail up to them, they recommended I go to a dealership to find out the problem. When I told them they should have found that problem before they sold the vehicle to me, the answer was "We don't have a service department". So now I get to take my Jeep to a dealership to go find out what's the problem with my new purchase. That's exactly what you want to do after you buy a vehicle. Go get it fixed.
So if you're looking for a dealership where you can buy a car which may or may not be what is advertised that has also never had a basic safety check then look no further than RPT Sales and Leasing. They might even let you pay for the first fill-up when you as soon as you leave the lot.
When it comes to stereotypes, it's incredibly disappointing when used car dealerships live up to expectations. Unfortunately, this dealership is exactly what you think you're going to run into with a used car dealership. Evasive. Misleading. Only worried about a transaction.
I went in to buy a truck, my sales man was Eduardo. Fantastic sales service. Not pushy and worked with me every way possible. Frank is one of the managers, and was great to work with. We negotiated on an AMAZING price for the truck, he was straight forward with me, and a complete pleasure to do business with. Thank you guys for your great service. This is only the 2nd time I enjoyed purchasing a vehicle from a dealership. Say goodbye to the nightmares and hello to RPT Sales & Leasing.
I recently just purchased my Lexus IS350 F Sport from these guys, and Bill Hoyle, Adam Hawley, and the GM took awesome care of me. Making things as simple and painless as possible. I was in and out in under an hour. Thank you guys!
I was very impressed with the inventory of luxury cars they had and after entering the building I was introduced to Rodrigo. He was not a high pressure salesman, which I appreciated. He took me to the car and answered my questions and we took it for a drive. I told him I wanted the car and he then introduced me to Frank Calabrese, the General Manager where we worked out a deal for my trade-in and sealed the deal for the purchase.
