Employees always greet and smile at you. They are very helpful. I love my pharmacist. This is my favorite publix. I find everything, I need very easy.
Despite having the ability to use this number to debit from the card, the cashier, two managers, and apparently the owner of the location, refused to accept the gift card without the physical card being present, even in a state of emergency, knowing that their actions were keeping food out of a child's mouth.
Oh, but they sure are quick to ask you for cash donations to help support people affected by IRMA.
Very clean store with a great staff. Showed up at Deli 10 minutes before close on the Friday night before Hurricane Irma hit. Young man at deli, I think named Johnny, had a great attitude, after a long day. Thank you Publix, for having a helpful staff and a great selection.
The meat department should use latex gloves like the bakery does. The bakery department is excellent. But the Meat department don't use latex gloves and sometimes the steak kabobs are brown /old. Also they don't know how to make something simple like hamburger patties. We pay such high Publix price and would expect better out of the meat department. The Deli and bakery use gloves when handling food, the meat department does not. I seen this on more than one occasion.
This is the only retail store I have ever been to where the employees seem to think they are more important than the customers. Stockers will see you are trying to get an item blocked by their cart and just continue stocking. Pre ordered deli items are rarely ready by the promised time, but when you ask they say someone else must have taken it. Come on!! Meat department employee told me to adapt the recipe as the amounts in the recipe "are just a recommendation" as opposed to repackaging the meat for me. I highly recommend Publix, just not this particular location until they clean up their act.
Went in tonight to refill my fridge and freezer after having lost power during Irma. My parents had loaded a gift card to help us get food for me, my fiance, and 2 year old son. Unfortunately, they are in Fort Lauderdale, and sent a picture of the card scan bar with the number.
Thanks Publix, for making shopping a pleasure.
Guess its just you guys.
Update: Went to another location today and they had absolutely no problem honoring the gift card without it being present.
