Older hotel. Room has a distinct odor, but for $80 per night I wasn't going to complain. Has a nice pool area but needs a better cleaning staff. Booked a room for two nights and got in late the first night and just crashed. Took showers before we left and hung up the towels. Upon returning after a long day all towels were gone and no new shampoo or soap in the room. Had to go downstairs to request some. Finally looked around the room and saw this (see picture) stuck to the toilet, I didn't buy a bathing suit. It has become clear to me that the staff really doesn't clean the room. I will not stay here again.
We stayed over night while driving cross country. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a very good buffet. Word to the wise, all rooms have a fridge and it is in what looks like a dresser below the TV. We totally missed it and had to ask the front desk. That said, I'd gladly stay here again.
You never get a second chance to make a first impression... This is a review based solely upon first impressions. I just arrived at this hotel for a two-night stay. It's my first time here, although I'm a frequent visitor to the area, being a Disney Annual Passholder for the past few years. During check-in, my wife was informed there was a $15 per night "self-parking" fee (or $20 for valet). We weren't notified about this before or during the hotel booking process. In my opinion, this is a typical bait-and-switch tactic to rip off customers. A total scam. It's not like I can say "no thanks" and walk away when I'm hundreds of miles from my home. Unfortunately, resort fees and now parking fees are becoming commonplace in tourist areas. Personally, I'd rather book a hotel for $115 and not pay any fees than book a hotel for $100 and then be hit up for another $15 bucks when I arrive. So before I even get to see my room or any of the amenities, I'm greeted with an unexpected expense on my little weekend getaway. For those sticking to a strict budget on their vacation, $15 per day can add up quickly. I hope there's no other surprises like this for the rest of my stay.
The hotel room was great. Very spacious with a nice view overlooking the pool and bar area. The hotel sat right on a busy strip with plenty of places to eat. The hotel overall was very clean with optional valet parking. I would definitely choose this hotel again in the future.
Comfortable rooms and accomdating employees. I was able to check in very late when I arrived with no problem. The bar was a nice place to grab a drink at the end of the day and they have a breakfast buffet or a full menu to order from in the morning. Definitely would stay here again if I was back in town.
