I can't say enough about Axum Café over in Dr. Phillips. I eat for lunch there almost every day.The bowls are phenomenal, the service is fast and friendly, and I feel healthier after eating there. Exceptional would be an understatement.
I always go with the axum bowl (base - mashed sweet potato, rice/grain blend, curry vegetables, roasted mushrooms, bean medley, and topped with pico.) Only $ 8.25 and I usually have leftovers.
The chicken curry wrap is one of the best items on the Axum menu.
There are so many vibrant flavors that make this a really healthy wholesome and delicious.
Absolutely amazing!! The smoothies are exceptional and their breakfast pizza is to die for. They did a real good job putting all of this together.
Amazing fresh and balanced meals for a good price. This small neighborhood cafe in YMCA is really great. They make bowls (similar to chipotle style ) pick out base, protein, toppings but it is all so fresh and the servings are huge.
One of my favorite cafes in Orlando, coffee is amazing lattes and teas. Just like it's winter garden location. And yes it's inside the YMCA,. Food healthier then u find at other places and not too expensive. The service is awsome the employees are always happy.

Once you have checked out the restaurant I recommend ordering online. It is so easy on their app and the food is always bagged up and ready by the time I arrive.
You can tell when restaurants put a lot of care into fresh natural foods.... and that is what is going on here. The bowls make a balanced meal that I could eat every day and feel good.
They also have premade salads if you are looking to eat on the go, and they have made from scratch pizzas.
