Awesome place to take a break and enjoy some coffee. The setting was really laid back and comfortable. The food tasted great. The atmosphere was very welcoming. With the free internet and great service it was a great place to work remotely.

I absolutely adored this place. With me being both a small business owner and artist, I'm always seeking out privately owned (non-franchised) businesses where I can both work and be in an esthetically pleasing environment. Achilles offered the artsy cozy feel that I definitely appreciated. However, my visit today was my last. An hour into me both patronizing and working, I was approached by the owner asking me if I would move to accommodate a group of guests [that had already politely asked, and took, the extra seats around the table where I was seated]. The place was pretty full, as it was around lunch time, so I didn't feel that the request was appropriate - being that I was already seated and finishing my 2nd cup of coffee. After the guests insisted that my move was unnecessary, I was extremely uncomfortable and politely gave up my table, left my unfinished coffee and paid for my order and headed for the door.
Great place! Good food & seating arrangements both indoor & outdoor, & easily accessible location! Note: it opens at 10AM! Closed 10pm. Not crazy about the tv's- weird, "reality tv" program. Friendly, personable staff.
As a business owner you should know that it's both rude and inconsiderate to ask a paying, already seated guest to move when there isn't an adequately comfortable place to seat them. Appreciate your loyal customers.
The coffee was pretty good it would've been better if they put sugar in instead of me having to do it after the coffee was made i asked for light and sweet the barista told me i had to put my own sugar in, he could improve his customer service skills. I liked the ice cubes but the top of my cup prevented me from conveniently drinking from the straw or maybe the straw was too short. I may give them another chance another day maybe they'll improve.
Achilles is a wonderful place to relax and work. Its drink and food items are all wonderfully priced and of good quality. It can become a bit packed, but I've never had a problem finding somewhere to sit. There is free wifi for those who bring their devices, and there are plenty of outlets as well. I recommend trying Achilles at least once.
