Went here last night to be induced, it was an absolute disaster. There were no beds in on the labor and delivery floor, there were no beds in triage, people were delivering in the triage rooms and then there were about 20 people sitting miserably outside of triage who were waiting to be admitted! It was an absolute disaster and even the lady at checkout was telling us to go to Florida Hospital where we would be seen quicker. AND TO TOP IT OFF, we were told in the hospital tour that valet is free when you are admitted into triage, the guy demanded we pay him $5 while I'm having very painful contractions and just wanted to go to triage. There was only 1 valet guy working and it was so busy that the wait time to even get our car back was about 15 minutes! It was a disaster, staff was rude and her explanation for it being so busy was that "it must be a full moon" Honestly, there were so many people who are in pain ,having contractions in the lobby of the hospital, it was crazy backed up it literally looked like a BABY MILL and a business more than anything. They didn't care about all the women who were suffering. Save yourself the nightmare we had and deliver at Florida Hospital (the one downtown) has great service, friendly nurses and a whole new maternity ward that is actually newer than Winnie and is beautiful inside and out.

I really wish I would have listened and done more research on this hospital. I can't help but feel I would have received better care at a regular hospital. This is truly a baby factory and no one treats you with the dignity and respect every woman and baby deserves after becoming a mom... If you're a first time mom, do not go there... No one there cares. It's pretty sad.

The nursing staff was great!! I had a ton of nurses and they were all very wonderful. They have room service which is great! Food takes a while but it's to be expected since they are serving over 100 patients at once and your food is cooked to order. So waiting an hour for food was no big deal because it was to be expected. If I were to have another baby I would definitely come back to this hospital!

I had a positive experience all the way around. Our tour was so lovely. They took us all over the hospital and answered all of our questions. So friendly. I needed a csection unfortunately but the women down in labor and delivery were so kind hearted, caring, sincere and comforting. Joanna and Cristy gave me a shoulder to cry on and a hand to hold. They were with me from start to finish. So supportive and they kept me informed of everything going on. They took pictures of our first moments as a family together for us. They took pictures of my husband with our son that I would have missed. When we were in our room, every single nurse we had was so unbelievably attentive, patient and they treated me like family, really. I felt like I was in the best possible place. On top of everything else, the view from my room was beautiful and the food was out of this world. My husband and I joke about having a vacation there lol worth the two hour drive.

My wife is currently in the triage and has been waiting for up to 4 hours. She is a high risk pregnancy and her doc told her to go to triage to make sure she is not having contractions. Can you believe they haven't see her yet. She hasn't eaten from since 1 pm and scared to go get something to eat in case they call her and she is not there. I cannot believe this is happening especially as she is considered to be high risk hence we choosing this hospital. This is TOTALLY unacceptable..
