Little difficult getting in and out during the day because of of traffic, but other than that a good store to shop for your pets needs. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.
We have two older dogs that have to have a consistent diet. We feed them Natures Recipe. This Petco for some reason doesn't know how to place orders so they can maintain a supply on the shelves! Every time I go there the shelf is either empty or has only a few cans. Every time I check with the employees, they say give us your phone number and we'll call you or we'll put some aside and we'll call you. I've done this four times and never received a call! The last time was on Tuesday. I went to the store on Tuesday, because they get their deliveries on Monday. They told me, oh we got a Big truck so we haven't had time to go through it yet. Adam the dog trainer said to me, give me your number and I'll call you myself. I said no, I've already been through this routine before. He says you never gave it to me! So again like an idiot, I give him my number. Suffice it to say, I'm still waiting on his call! I hope corporate reads This! Because out of all the times I've been there and not been able to get this specific dog food, I have yet to see or even speak to the manager!
This is one of the best stores in town. They take good care of the pets they are selling and they don't overprice. That's the reason I love them.
I have come here a couple times because it is around the corner from me.. but after those couple experiences I realized I would rather drive further than to ever have to come here again. The dog trainer (Adam I believe) gave me an attitude the one time I went in because after telling me the prices I said I wouldn't know when I would be able to afford it and would give him a call.. after i said that he became very rude and since than has not even acknowledged me the couple other times of gone in. The second time I went i asked someone for help.. they seemed very annoyed to have to stop what they were doing and help me and kept trying to walk away as I was asking questions. On that same visit I got a very bad attitude from the cashier... when I filled out a survey they had called me to apologize so I figured I would give them another chance. I had to bring both my dogs and my cats because I was flea bombing my house and had to leave the house so I went to petco to get the flea topical for my cat since the dog had already had theirs. First off all one of the owners rolled her eyes at me when I walked in because my dogs wouldn't stop barking which I was trying to control as best as possible. That same worker watched as my dog had an accident on the floor and I was struggling to hold both the leashes, the cat carrier, my pocket book, and pick up the mess. After standing there watching me struggle to pick it up all she did was tell me where to throw it out and then walk away. When I asked for help that visit later one, again I got an attitude and also received the wrong information my vet told me. Do not go here!! Staff is rude and unknowledgeable!
I made a grooming appointment. I called the store 2 hours before my appointment to confirm the time and a person called David, who said he is the manager of the store, said my appointment was cancelled. He did not offer to substitute the groomer and did not offer me any other options. As a long time customer, I expected a much higher level of customer service. I honestly don't believe this David is the actual manager of the store.... but if he really is, Petco urgently needs to fire him and hire a person who is actually capable of doing this job.
