The atmosphere is okay but the food tast so good. The service is good too.
Went to the bar to pick up togo food, me and my girlfriends got a shot as we were waiting....manager stared us down as if we were doing something wrond the entire time. Made myself and friends feel very uncomfortable. Probably wouldnt go back.
Greeted warmly at the door, once seat was assigned a friendly waited asked if there was still a turkey dinner on the menu and was informed they no longer served it. Ordered the full rack of ribs half barbeque and other dry rub... Well the dry rub was extremely salted informed the waiter if it can be changed to barbeque. No problem other than 3 minutes later they brought out a raw half rib. Ask for the manager and there comes along a very hostile ill tempered manager who's opening line was well guess you have never had our ribs. Wrong I very much frequent this establishment with my wife and children who absolutely love it. He proceeded to state what was it I wanted him to do. All I asked was that I would pay for the half rib portion which I thought was fair. It did not sit well with manager Bryan who huffed away and sent the waited back with the bill. His approach was disrespectful and childish we had expected better from Smokey Bones. I paid the tab and tipped the waiter well. Unacceptable customer service.
We looked online to find a BBQ place and this one stayed open till 2am this place had a low star rating so we were a little skeptical about it but we still went since it was late and everything else was closing. When we walked it the hostess was real friendly and we sat at the bar for about 10 min waiting for a table. The bartender was very friendly and professional even carried conversation for a few minutes with us. We then sat at a booth and Anthony was our waiter. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Our food came out promptly we ordered the fried pickles and no complaints there. They were delicious. My husband had the brisket and I had the pull pork and it was very good. I'm glad we went the place had a great atmosphere everyone was great. I don't leave reviews often but I had to since they have some negative reviews. Just want to thank everyone that took care of us.
The staff was friendly and portions were hefty. That is really the only good thing I can say. Out of our group of 5 none of us cared for our food. My burger was a large mass of flavorless food. The BBQ sauces were some of the worst I've tried. As a previous reviewer also mentioned, by the time we were done eating what we could our stomachs were already in knots. I really wanted to like the place, its appearance and menu lead you to believe you are in for a delicious meal. My 2 recommendations are, come up with a better sweet sauce at least and use some salt when cooking the burgers. I'm still confused how a burger covered with cheese, bacon, and a fried egg could be so flavorless. Probably Won't be returning any time soon.
