Owner sucks!! Jennifer was nice enough to say she would hold a new chainsaw for me since I told her I was on my way and told her where I was coming from. Owner told her she couldn't hold it and sold it 2 minutes before we walked in door. Wasted trip driving across town for nothing!!! We have some large oak trees on top of our house & car from Hurricane Irma and can't find large chainsaws any where. So much for customer service!!!
Great pawn shop, got some cool stuff here. Always have guitars, computers, & monitors, which I look for a lot. One or two of the staff between the two locations lowballs pretty badly but other than that most all the staff will give you fair prices for pawns, and their 10% rate on everything is awesome. I'm a frequent customer and have pawned quite a few things in the past.
When was the last time you went into a pawn shop, and left feeling like you'd just made 4 new friends? Never right? Well my experience today at Godfather Pawn on SOBT was phenomenal. Marc the owner, manager Chris, and clerks Rubi and Austin made us feel welcome and in a very warm way. We were treated with respect and they gave us the decently honest value of what we'd brought in to sell. They don't play games with you and make you feel like you're a creep deadbeat. I will NEVER go anywhere else to buy or sell my stuff again. If you need some nice watches or jewelry or even a designer handbag, they have it, and dirt cheap. They don't rip you off like some of the other guys, coming or going.
These guys should have their own reality TV show. They are the Gold and Silver Pawn Stars of Orlando!
If you don't stop in to say hello to these nice people, it's your misfortune.
Godfather Pawn on Orange Blossom Trail is the greatest place to vist! I was in need of a loan to pay my rent at an extended suite hotel after my banking account was compromised. The hotel would not help but, thank god for Godfather pawn. I have had really bad expeirences in the past with pawn shops... NOT here. I was greeted with a smile and told that they would be right with me. Considering they were busy I did not wait long. I do know that at times we do not always get what we feel our items are worth or get what we expect for a loan. I went in not sure if I would get what I needed. I asked for an amout for 2 items and the girl that waited on me asked a manager for assistance. I assured him that my intentions were honest and I WOULD be back I just needed help for a couple of days till I sorted out my account. I did not want my son and myself to be homeless. He must of saw the dispare in my face and said without hesitation... sure I will do that. I do realize that they are trying to make money like the rest of us but, I felt like I really mattered there; not just a number or a dollar sign but, a person. I have been back and bought items from there and WILL return again! I will recommend this pawn shop to all I run across. I am truly sorry I forgot the peoples names that waited on me; you know who you are so I say this to you, Me as a customer appreciate everything you do for us even though you may not get the reconignition from your superiors, keep up the great work and thank you.
Got a great deal on a Apple TV and Flat screen tv today! So it was a great experience
