".....that tooth will have to be removed in a few years anyways..."

Best dentist ever!! I have been here many times. I just got 7 fillings today. Dr. Rivera and Judy are awesome. No pain, very quick. They take great care to make sure there patients are comfortable and informed. All of my 4 kids have been here and my wife. Great people!!

However, the best part of my experience was The Dental Hygienist Maria. She was very professional, and thoroughly explained every detail of the work she was performing on my teeth. I would highly recommend this dental office to anyone looking for an amazing patient experience and a smart, caring dentist.

First impressions were great. But then, costs started to build up simply because of lack of transparency.

Dr. Rivera tells me that I need to have a Root Canal done and needed a porcelain crown. Obviously, more money to spend. After researching, I found out there are different types of crowns and I wanted a metal since those work fine for many people for many years.

Why didn't she tell me this in the first place? Money, I guess. I don't mind supporting businesses. And I don't mind spending over $900 to take of my health - but lying or being deceiving is what bothers me the most.

She was very reluctant at first - for whatever reason and even had to consult with someone about it. I don't know. It was weird. So, we settled with a gold crown. I didn't care about appearance since it was going to be in the back of my mouth. No one is going to see it so there is no point in porcelain besides it lasting longer - despite metals lasting as long in many cases I've seen.

Find another dentist. Stay away from here.

Wait... So, I spent over $900 when that money could have gone into getting rid of the tooth in the first place for less than that? So later, that's going to be $300 or so or whatever it is going to cost then to remove the tooth.

Nowadays is difficult to find a Dr. that doesn't see you as one more number. Dr. Rivera and her team treated me with compassion and consideration, they made me feel as a human being and not a simple profit center. Thanks, Dr. Rivera and team for your professionalism and charisma.

So, I've visited this office about 4-6 in the since 2015 and the initial visits were good. For whatever reason, on the 3rd visit into 2016, they advise I remove my wisdom teeth that's been pushing up into one of my molars (and another that's in the corner of my mouth). I agreed simply because that would obviously cause issues.

Never again will I set foot in this office. I don't know why these people feel the need to be deceitful because these are lives you're playing with. Don't let the faux welcoming environment fool you. Even when they offered veneers, they didn't tell me that they could bond my teeth as it is, according to them, a minor cosmetic issue. I have to find these things out by looking online. And this should tell you how they run their business when they lay out the options for you.

Months later, I started to have have this immense sharp pain from the area where my wisdom tooth was pushing into. Turns out the wisdom tooth had created a cavity and I needed to have that addressed. My issue is - why didn't they find this out earlier? They could have removed that tooth too when they sent me off to the endodontics.

AMAZING experience! My spouse and I are both existing patients of this office, and we have been absolutely delighted with the care received for routine care. This was my first experience that was more urgent in nature. I called the office yesterday around 10am, requesting an appointment for dental pain that started the day before, and I was able to be seen at 11:30 the same day. I was immediately taken to the exam room, and xrays completed. Within 5 minutes, Dr. Castellini was in to review the xrays, and just as I suspected, I was going to need a root canal. The dental assistant quickly contacted the endodontist office, and arranged and scheduled my appointment for the very next day (today) at 2pm. The endodontist completed the root canal with absolute professional care, and provided me with records and a new xray after the root canal was done. They instructed me to provide the papers and xray to Dr. Castellini's office, and to schedule an appointment with them to replace the temporary filling with a permanent one. It so happened that Modern Smiles was on my way home, so I stopped in to drop off the papers and xray, and inquired about an appointment for the permanent filling. The receptionist asked if I would be able to stay if Dr. Castellini were perhaps available to see me today. I was very agreeable to this possibility and even willing to wait an hour or two if they were able to squeeze me in. Much to my surprise, I only waited about 10 minutes, and I was taken back to an exam room. Within 5 minutes, Dr. Castellini was in the room, and ready to proceed with the permanent filling! He also recalled that I told him yesterday that I was leaving for a trip this Saturday, and he told me to enjoy my trip! I am amazed at all of the staff at this office for their courtesy, professionalism, and they genuinely care and respect me as more than just a customer. The entire staff go above and beyond. Over the years, I've lived in several cities/states, and had various dentists along the way. I will say without a doubt, Dr. Castellini and ALL of the Modern Smiles staff are absolutely the best, and will go way beyond your expectations!

So, after going back and forth to fix my Gold crown as it actually fell off one time because it wasn't put in right by one of the assistants, Rivera finally sealed it and enured it wouldn't fall off. No issues even today. But what she told me really bothered me.

The office is extremely clean, comfortable and new. The technology implemented in the office is advanced, and the staff is extremely friendly.
