It is a cozy place to rest your head. It has a relaxing, quaint atmosphere. The beds make a lot of noises when you move in them. The bed frames were sort of old.
While your there do yourself a favor and have an evening Arnold Palmer in the members lounge.

Property was clean and well kept, rooms were also very clean, beds were super comfy! Loved having a back porch area that overlooked the golf course as well as how quiet and secluded the property was! All staff members we encountered were extremely pleasant and very helpful. Front desk was kind enough to print out an important document for me as well as except a package delivery! The only thing that would have made it better was providing an iron/ironing board and mini fridge.
We just got back from Bay Hill last night. Having booked many months ahead, it was on our bucket list and I wanted to surprise my friend for his 50th Birthday. From the time we arrived we felt so welcome..so part of a family. You are surrounded with the quaint lodge, the warm decor and the most hospitable staff, with one of the most incredible golf courses to be played. To Mr. Palmer's Family, I would like for you to know that we felt his presence out there with us. We kept playing round after round (6) in 4 days, and if we could have...we would have played more. We kept the TV on in the evening the whole time on "Arnie's" Story...loop after loop. What an Incredible human being, and we had the privilege to stay and play. We sincerely took it all in. Stopped and reflected at what Mr. Palmer saw so many years ago. We ended our stay with an afternoon reply round finishing up on 18 at sunset.
Did a stay and play with my father-in-law. It was an excellent experience from the moment we arrived. Golf and practice facilities are outstanding to say the least. Every staff member that we met (at the lodge, the breakfast buffet, the members lounge, the golf facilities) were extremely nice and made you feel very welcome. I really was only interested in playing the course when I made the reservation but after experiencing the convenience and nostalgia of the lodge I highly recommend paying for the stay in order to play.
Currently I Work In Bay Hill, In Materia de Greens, 2 weeks ago I was the victim of a Bad Treatment by Another Employee, I commented to the Managing Manager and was not able to find out if it was true what happened just mocking me, his Answer It was: Sure The WORD YOU LISTENED TO THE BAD UNDERSTAND, BECAUSE THIS EMPLOYEE IS FROM EUROPE, When my honor as a human being, was on the floor, without any value. Hopefully, the Palmer Family will take a moment to ask their employees how they feel about the treatment that some managers give their workers, I love working in Bay Hill, but working with people like that manager, makes a difference in the Treatment and Privilege That Some Employees Have, If It Really Was a Professional Person At Least It Would Be In Charge Of Seeing Us All For The Same, And Not Accepting That Some Employees Treat Others As If We Were Worth Nothing. I asked for my 2 weeks and I denied them, saying that Bay Hill does not give any 2 weeks and that if I wanted to go that I was already. Without Importing Nothing, All My SWEAT, AND WORK FOR 2 YEARS, I DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING IMPORTANT. And Yes For Wanting to Defend My Rights, First as a Person, as a Human Being, and Lastly as an Employee, I Lose My Job I Accept It .. But My Nobody Will Shout Me and Much Less To Tell Me All Those Strong Words They Said Without No reason!!!
