Very well done recreation. Feels like you are really there in the movie. The Gringotts ride is amazing. The dragon on top of Gringotts breathes fire every 10 min in the evening. Lots to do and lots of butter beer to drink. Buy a wand and cast spells at different locations.
It's amazing! It's hard to compare it to the movies and books, because those places aren't real! This is as close as it can come to being a real place here in the real world that people would build. It really is wonderful! I don't feel as if I'm easy to be impressed, but I really am amazed with the attention to detail they have tried to pay to everything.
This is incredible. We live in California and have been here twice. Unbelievable realism that brings the story to life. Thank you to the magical crew who brought my son's wand back to life with a simple recharge. Also, Knockturn Alley is super cool. We love the motion capture skeleton. He gave me a smile and ovation when done. We are certainly coming back!
It’s good but could have been even better. Need more interactive stuff and better rides. The butter beer is great though!
If you are a Harry Potter fan, this area is awesome and you'll want to do everything. If you aren't, you can probably skip it. There's only one ride, be which is immersed in the story if the books. It was crazy crowded on Columbus Day. I wouldn't buy the interactive wand. The areas where you could cast spells were super finicky, and my kids ended up more frustrated than amazed. You ended up waiting in line to do the spell, too.
