Awesome place to visit. It's always good to be with thousands of brothers and sisters in Christ. This was our second trip in about five years. Some changes but they deliver. Keep up the great work in spreading the Gospel message!
I was apart of our church group. The experience was so real that it was as if I had stepped back in time. The time depictions were vivid. It was as if I was there at the actual crucifixion and resurrection. The mother's grief was felt by everyone in the groups. There was authenticity in the clothing that was worn by the people. The Roman Soldiers were authentic looking and sounded like what I imagined they did when Jesus walked the earth.
If I could give this place zero stars I would! My mother flew to Orlando to visit the holy land and was pleased they would be showing a show that was in correlation with her studies. We arrive 2 minutes after the start of the show and she was refused entry. The actors got on their radios, followed us around, and formed a ban to ensure my mother would not be allowed in the theater. When we explained why the show was so important to her the staff showed no compassion. I also witnessed a small child being separated from his family during a show and the lady in the entrance refused the child to enter and find his family.
This was my 4th time visiting the Holy Land. I was very disappointed to see all the waxed statues and features were removed from the outside and the inside of the park. These beautiful features really made me feel blessed to be apart of this spiritual atmosphere. Now these physical images have been replaced with plants and tress; not the same inner experience for me. Really disappointed that the partaking in communion is longer there. A staff member told me that the new owner took the communion away; because people can take communion at their own church. Well that is true; but you have dismissed the Holy Land communion experience .
Biblical journey through the life of Christ. From birth to resurrection told in plays and song. Wonderfully done. Beautiful place. Some of the construction used rock from Israel. As with any attraction the food and drinks are over priced and some dishes are not the best quality. I recommend purchasing a refillable cup, you will have a drink all day and a souvenir. One day a year this attraction offers a free day.
My experience here was less than enjoyable. My heart was broken at the level of customer service and concern the workers had here. I expected this to be a magical experience for my family and instead I was followed closely and radioed at my existence in any area. Needless to say we did not see our show and we did not stay at all long. My mother was extremely disappointed.
