Walt Disney imagineers completely outdid themselves this time. The world of Pandora is out of this world in more ways than one. It is simply fantastic all of the detail it really feels like you're on another planet. The technology that uses just unbelievable how real everything seems from the river ride to the floating mountains to the Flight of the banshee.
Not as impressed as I thought I would be. Only Two rides. The boat ride was awesome, muy have fast pass or it was a 2 hour wait. Area is smaller than I thought it would be. Only one restaurant. I was expecting more.
As soon as you step through the main entrance to the World of Avatar, you're instantly taken to another world, much more immersive than many of the other lands at the various Disney parks. The amount of detail and precision put into the World of Avatar is stunning - photos do it justice to a certain extent, being there is on another level. You'll spend a fair amount of time exploring every foot of the many artificial plants, the stunning waterfall, and so much more. Photo opportunities are abundant here.
You can't base an entire park on one persons bad experience like the post previous to mine. Disney invested a lot into building an avatar village. Hats off they did an excellent job. It looks very authentic. Disney always go for impressing people and not scaring people
Very small, but very awesome! Pandora has great food and Flights of Passage is the best Disney ride out there! The seat is very restricting and not made for larger people! The food is very affordable for Disney and super delicious. Get a fast pass for these rides cause the 4 hour wait is not worth it. Make sure to check out the land after sunset when everything glows! don't expect to see actual characters from the film though, unless you count the one robot on the river ride.
