Took 3 days to be recommended to see a cardiologist (i was admitted for heart rate of 176 at age of 30,) while i was in the hospital for elevated heart rate, and it continued to stay elevated. I spoke up requesting one, and he wasn't concerned at all about it, and the only reason i was referred to see with one was because my wonderful nursing staff got me a different Dr and i requested my GI have a cardiology see me. Once the ball was rolling, tests and consults were done in one day! Dr Pfaff wasted an entire weekend of my time
He Sat in my chair at the foot of my hospital bed, pretty much told me he was just a fixture. He had no desire to help me, calm me, or reassure me i would be taken care of. I told him he didn't have to visit me anymore if it was a waste of his time. he explained he had to or he would get fired by his boss.
The girl who gave the Dr. a low rating sounds crazy. Opposite experience from hers.
