When it's all said and done, this location is run by Disney (not Starbucks, though their training outdoes what most Starbucks baristas go through) and your experience will most rely on the cast members you interact with. They do a lot to make this location run, and still give their guests Disney service.
Cast members will continuously put your drink after others who have ordered after you. They insist the drinks must go in order. We waited long enough for the ice to melt enough to dilute the drink. Not a plesent experience, would not recommend.
Definitely the worst Starbucks I've ever visited. Extremely slow service and rude staff who would rather argue than make your drink again. Despite being on Main Street USA, this store is a bizarro world where Disney level service disappears.
Who wouldn't like to walk around Disney early morning with an ice coffee in hand or a yummy pastry to follow it. Just be patient and you will see the magical moments as I have. The Disney employees really do go out of there way.
This location themes itself much like the rest of Main Street, even using the original Starbucks logo for a little authenticity. Inside looks nice, but because of their high volume has no indoor seating. If you're looking for a place to sit, the hub grass (in front of Cinderella's Castle) is nice, or you can walk down Center Street, the alley that branches off of Main Street before the bakery.
Our visit was going well until they messed up our order. Jessee who was handing out the drinks didn't seem to care that we were missing an iced tea(we had received the rest of our order which included other drinks within minutes of ordering) and rudely insisted that our tea which we ordered 20 mins ago didn't get lost and basically refused to check on it. It wasn't until we asked for a supervisor and asked her what happened to our drink, did it get made. The supervisor didn't care too much either that we had rude service from Jessee or that our order was messed up. We informed her this was the worst Starbucks we have ever been to and surprisingly on Disney property. The level of service you see throughout the park definitely stops when you enter this Starbucks. The only good thing I can say about this Starbacks is the pastries are good.
This is Disney World's first in-park Starbucks, as of spring 2013. It is also one of the busiest stores in the entire world, so don't be surprised if you have a bit of a wait, especially during busy hours. Your best bet for getting in and out quickly is to go during or IMMEDIATELY after entertainment times, meaning parades and fireworks.
