Been here twice and so far everything I have tried is awesome! Great taste with all this exotic and fresh food at a fare price. All employees are very nice too.
Very good service. Staff is friendly and polite, the place is clean and comfortable.... The food not that much.
The "coxinha" is good. The "misto quente", a very traditional sandwich in Brazil, which is ham and cheese grilled on an frying pan, they prepare as a panini, so it tastes terrible. The "pão de queijo" is suposed to be soft inside. Theirs is hard and dry, with zero cheese taste.
As an American who's never been to Brazil, take my review with a grain of salt. I'm not qualified to comment on authenticity. What i can say is that my food was delicious. I ended up with a coffee i didn't want, but I'm glad i got it. It's served in a humble Dixie, but it was absolutely delicious. They don't do iced drinks here other than Starbucks bottled drinks from the cooler, so that was disappointing, but i think iced coffee drinks are a uniquely American thing, so it's hard to fault them for that. The breakfast sandwich was great; crispy and crunchy in the outside, and warm and gooey on the inside. The collate mousse was creamy and Rich, but not so sweet as to overpower the palate.
So disappointed, went to Amor em Pedaços because it was supposed to be a very good Brazilian bakery, but it was a very disappointing experience. I tried both the sweets, cakes and such, and the ham & cheese potato bread. It didn't taste fresh or like Brazilian made sweets. And for the price you are paying, the food should be delicious.
Omg, the coxinha was absolutely delicious! I cannot wait to come back here. The brigadeiro cake was a bit dry, but still good.
