This branch, which is the main office for the Orlando area, has a revolving door when it comes to clerks and supervisors. The customer service is horrible! If you are just going in and making a quick transaction is fine but, if you need any answers, help or additional information, everyone reacts to it as if you’re inconveniencing them. They always respond with a bad attitude and very dismissive. There is absolutely no willingness or desire to provide proper customer service. They all start bouncing you around, and every one of them sends you off to the next one by simply saying, “well… it’s not my problem” or “I don’t know what to tell you; I don't know what to do”. Completely unacceptable! And sadly the first person to respond with a “not my problem” demeanor is the supervisor. Diplomacy here does not get you anywhere. Only after arguing, fighting and putting pressure can you get the supervisors to lift a finger to look into any situation because they just want you to sit back and wait while they pass the ball from one to the other and no one does anything to solve the problem! My husband and I have both worked in customer service for over 20 years and have always taken pride in going the extra mile for our customers; it makes us feel good when we can actually help someone. Even when the solution is not up to us or we do not have the answer right there and then, we always take the initiative to provide an excellent service by offering to do any and all inquiries necessary to get our customers the response and help they need; which is exactly why this behavior from them is so frustrating to us.If you seriously need help from them with anything, my suggestion is to get the Postal Inspector or Postmaster involved if you want solutions.
Dishonest staff. They seemed trained to only offer the highest priced shipping methods, and will lie to your face when you tell them there are other cheaper options available at USPS. For example USPS retail ground. The clerk I spoke to today had the nerve to suggest I try the Fedex office next door.
Worst PO I've ever dealt with. Where are these good reviews coming from?? Terrible customer service. These people either hate their jobs or are trained to be jerks because no one here cares about the customer. I missed a package that required a signature. Next day was sent a text saying it was ready for pickup at this location. So I drive 30 min to pick up my package only to be told it's out for delivery on a different truck. I go home and wait the entire day and no delivery. Don't try to call, they don't answer. Now on the 3rd day after package was scheduled to be delivered and tracking still shows it's available for pickup but no one seems to be able to locate it.
This location is actually my favorite location in Orlando. I regularly drop off packages for my business and they are always helpful. The same people have worked there for the past year or so that I've been going. The hours at this location are VERY helpful.
Let’s face it. No one likes going to the post office, except for my kids. This is, by far, my favorite USPS location! They are efficient and Bertie is the sweetest lady and I always look forward to her smile when I get to her counter! My girls love her, too! I own a small business and so I’m at the post office nearly everyday and life is so much better when you get to deal with pleasant people! Their hours are amazing, too! Open until 9pm during the weekdays, 8pm in Saturday AND they’re open Sunday?! Yes, please!!!
