They brought him in to allow me a chance to say my final good bye.
Special thanks to everyone there for their show of concern and help.
His temperature was 110. They took emergency steps to cool him down and try to save him.
Monday night June 26, 2017 I had a problem with my pet chow, Michael.
Our dogs had gotten into some chocolate donuts while we were out of the hotel room, so we called and went there to induce vomiting. Was mostly worried about my smaller dog, but it turns out the bigger one didn't share. The price they gave me originally was too high so I suggested they cut it in half and they were able to. Granted, it was also for two dogs. They induced vomiting and gave them some Zofram and sent us home. The dogs were fine the rest of the night and the next day, I am thankful of the staff here and am pleased with my visit. Would recommend for ER services, just know what you are paying for.
Staff was also very friendly and understanding of my crazy dog mom crying. :D
Disgusting place! Vet is rude and nasty wouldn’t offer any help, let my dog sit in his own bloody bowls, when trying to make payment they let u sit forever even when they didn’t have anyone in the office. They don’t care about the animals they only care about the 1K + bill but PayPal won’t except over $500 and they want everything upfront. I hope this place closes down. There are far better places than this! DONT GO HERE STAY FAR FAR AWAY IF YOU VALUE YOUR PETS LIFE.
Wonderful, caring people, helped my dog, Emmi,. right away and the vet tech that greeted us and took care of my dog in the room was very knowledgeable, checked all her vitals and assured me she was stable. She was prompt to inform the doctor what was going on and update me constantly. I brought my dog in for a cute diarrhea. They gave her fluids, meds and made her better! Very knowledgeable! Thank u!
As morning came and we prepared to move him to a regular vet for follow up, I got the call that Michael went into cardiac arrest.
I called the Animal emergency hospital to tell them this was an emergency and we were on our way.
He had been discharged from another Vet office, yet he was now having problems breathing and his temp was increasing.
I took my beloved Felix, a cat of about 12 years there this evening. He'd been at his normal vet earlier with labored breathing but nothing else was noted. About two hours later he was crying and could not use his back legs. As he was hyperthyroid, I was concerned his weakness led him to a fall. He was quickly diagnosed with a serious aortic thrombosis, blood clot cutting off circulation to his lower limbs. His history was complicated, but the doctor was thorough and explained all the options. We chose to end his suffering and the staff was wonderfully compassionate. They waited for my son to come in and say his last goodbye and two other close friends who showed up.
Yes. they are a little more expensive but they are an ER for your pet. That's to be expected. They gave me and my family the time we needed with our furry family member and were very compassionate and honest throughout.
The staff rolled out a gurney to immediately transport Michael to the ER.
Dr. Wester and the staff fought hard and did everything they could to keep me informed and try to save my kid.
Then came the help with the cremation arrangements.
