Staff is always super friendly and engaging. Truffle Fries are the best as well as the lobster hoagie/roll. Laid back atmosphere and customers are always up for conversation. Drinks are strong and tasty, they have signature drinks as well as drinks found at any other bar.
We discovered this lounge during our September stay. We'll never eat a burger on any other WDW property (which we have done in the past). They do ooze some grease, but I wouldn't call them greasy. They're definitely juicy and flavorful. The fries are so-so, but I'm very particular about fries. The price is now $18., (was there on 1/9/17) but that feeds two of us --and, they even plate it up for 2. They also have a great beer selection. We go early (around noon) and have no crowds to fight and easy to access from International plaza or Hollywood Studios via boat.
My wife and I have frequented this little gem many times over the years. Today was a bit different. The short rib was not tender at all in fact it was tough and the corn polenta was replaced by mashed potatoes. The server explained that their normal kitchen was closed for repairs so we received the short rib recipe from the steakhouse next to us. I will be back after their kitchen is back up and running.
This is a great little hidden gem. While everyone else is waiting to get into the steakhouse next door, you can sit here at the bar and eat appetizers. The staff is extremely friendly and the cocktails are perfect.
It can be tough to get a seat around the dinner rush or if you have more than 4 people in your group, but I would recommend trying. The drinks are well made and the liquor selection is good. Plus you can get a meal here (but go to the Yachtsman instead).
